Plan your week with Claude

This is how we use Claude at Insighty to prioritize tasks, summarize meetings, and prep drafts before the week starts.

At Insighty, Dani and Nati use Claude every day to organize their work, not just to write. This isn't theory: it's literally how we build our week. Here's the process, so you can copy it with your own workload.

Before the week starts

1

Empty your head into a single conversation

On Sunday or Monday morning, spend 10 minutes writing Claude everything you have pending: meetings, deliverables, loose to-dos. Don't sort it yourself, just write it as it comes to mind.

"This week I have: [list of everything you remember]. Help me organize it by priority, keeping in mind that the most urgent thing is [whatever's most urgent for you]."
2

Ask it to show you what you might be missing

Claude can spot time conflicts or to-dos that depend on other to-dos, something that's easy to miss when you write the list in one go.

"Do you see anything on this list that depends on something else, or something I should do before what I listed?"

During the week

3

Summarize long meetings

After a call or meeting, paste your notes (even messy ones) and ask for an actionable summary, not just a general one.

"Here are my notes from today's meeting. Summarize in 3-4 points what was decided and what I need to do."
4

Prep drafts before you write

For emails, follow-up messages, or proposals, ask for a first draft with the needed context. You edit and adjust the tone, but you don't start from zero.

"I need to reply to [person] about [topic]. The goal is [what you want to achieve]. Give me a short, direct draft."
5

Clear a backed-up inbox

If your inbox is full, paste the subject lines and first sentences of several emails and ask for help deciding which to answer first.

"I have these unanswered emails: [list]. Which need a reply today and which can wait?"
What matters: Claude doesn't decide for you, it helps you think faster. The final priority, the tone of the email, and the business decision are still yours. That's the difference between delegating and losing control of your week.
